Tristar was formed in August, 2001 by Robert Madden. He is the founder and original member. Mr. Madden started the company after leaving 2 different local telecom companies. He left both of these companies because of what they expected him to sell and how to "position" the sale to the client. He felt these "tactics" were highly unethical and learned after a few sales that he was actually harming the local companies in his home town. The telecom companies actually prohibited their agents from contacting the client after the original sale. The agents were actually barred from supporting the client! Mr. Madden left these companies totally discouraged only to realize how easy it would be to compete against these companies. After all, their products were sound but their sales techniques were deplorable. Hence, Tristar was born. Mr. Madden chose the name Tristar after the Holy Trinity and would run his organization on sound Christian ethics and principles. Over the last 10 years, Mr. Maddens philosophy has proven so successful that there are now NO telecom sales people located in his home town. Tristar now commands over 90% of all available business in his home region. Tristar does not advertise and relies solely on existing clients to speak about their experience with Tristar to other local businesses. In 2007 Mr. Madden decided to reach out to other telecom sales agents nationwide and offer them an opportunity to provide services based on his concept of how to properly provide telecom services in their local markets. At Tristar, our clients are our top priority! We now have agents across the country and each is in the process of dominating their local markets.
